1. About Domainion
Domainion is a domain portfolio management tool that helps you track domain names, monitor expiry dates, and connect registrar accounts. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Domainion.
By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@domainion.co.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Domainion.
3. Workspaces
Domainion organises your domains and registrar credentials into workspaces. The workspace owner is responsible for ensuring that all members comply with these Terms. Owners can invite members and control their access level.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Domainion for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or to another user’s workspace
- Interfere with or disrupt the availability of the service
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service beyond normal use
- Impersonate any person or entity
5. Registrar Integrations
Domainion allows you to connect your domain registrar accounts by providing API credentials. By doing so:
- You confirm you have the right to use those credentials
- You authorise Domainion to use them solely to fetch domain data on your behalf
- Your credentials are encrypted at rest and never shared with third parties
- Domainion does not guarantee the availability or accuracy of data returned by registrar APIs
- You remain solely responsible for your registrar account, any domains registered through it, and any actions taken through the registrar’s API
6. Billing and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service in addition to these Terms.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. On cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the free tier.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds on subscription charges. Partial-period refunds are not available.
Plan changes: Upgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrading a paid Stripe subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Beta pricing: Some plans may be offered at reduced or no cost during a beta period. We will notify you by email before any beta pricing ends and charges begin.
Free tier: The free tier is provided without charge and its features and limits may change.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep Domainion available and working well, but we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access. We are not responsible for outages, downtime, or data unavailability caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including registrar API failures.
We will communicate planned maintenance where practical.
8. Intellectual Property
Domainion and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all domain data and registrar credentials you provide to the service.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. On deletion, your data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, at our discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of revenue, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of Domainion after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
